HAPPY DEEPAVALI!!!
went to vath and sath place today to celebrate deepavali!!! in the midst of getting there, i kind of greet the tamils i see with a joyous 'happy deepavali', and instead of looking at me like a weirdo which i would expect, they thank me and shook my hand!!! hmm, SINGAPOREANS are really polite, arent we? btw, enjoyed our time watching tamil show with a character name called TAMIL (LOL:D) and MISS USA at both their hse!!!! And who could forget the hottest gossip which went on and my witness of a phone call from 'sayang' on izwan's phone!!! OMG!
best of all, we received red packets from their parents too, COOL, i never know that they have such tradition too, i thought only chinese do give out hongbaos!! anw, to sum things up all, i spent a wonderful deepavali this year, or to put it exact, this is da first ever time i celebrated DEEPAVALI. a big thank you to vath and sathia for your brilliant hospitality!!!
