First entry for the year, so sentimental... blog rotting away and lazy to update... Promised to update when school reopen, but have been to busy to even stray out of what i am supposed to do. Not a very happy week to summarise.. the business conference had been a day for me to remember! talking about this conference bring a gush of heat to me. i was very disappointed at the way the teachers of my school handled this conference. they were very unsupportive and unhelpful. when i reached ngee ann polytechnic. i was in awe.. pupils from different school were there to support the team their school had sent. even those school which team were not short-listed sent in a whole troop of peole. Impressively, our school have 2 team short-listed out of 4, buy our school only send in a pathetic number of 20 people while the others have like 40... not that i am being demanding, but it just did not look good. well, my team eventually won the consolation prize... for me this was very unexpected as we were supposed to win second prize if not for some cheaters who changed their presentation completely, compared to the day of the rehersal. in fact i was quite stunned myself... my confidence was seriously shaken and i wonder when can i stand back up again... i am still feeling very down at the moment and haven really got over it yet after a day. but at least i learnt something from this business conference... it actually reflects how unfair the world is today and how fast a thing can slip away from ur hand in when you already got hold on it. Nevertheless, the conference is very well-organised and i would like to say thank you to my mentor derrick, who have helped me during the whole process of the conference and also assisting me to handle the aftermath of the conference.
